Just for giggles and grins, I unattached my facebook account to see what would happen. It’s bee a few days so I logged in. Seems my Kout score has “held steady” at 52.48 for the past 90 days! weird. OK< Seems I've joined the list. Happened to me twice: the first time when I added a new Google+ account. Took it back off. Then recently when I clicked to attach my Facebook Page. But I changed my mind and didn't change it. A couple days later I logged in to find the dive and indeed, it changed me from a personal influencer to brand influencer. Got it fixed but heck!

That has happened to me before with YouTube. I have a small YouTube channel with a few videos. I connected it to Klout and my score plummeted. Yikes! I unlinked YouTube and my score recovered.

Intuitively it doesn’t make sense that adding a place where people might find you hurts your Klout score, but that’s exactly what happens.

The good news is, Klout score is a worthless metric that can be easily manipulated and you have no need to attempt to get a high one.

I also experienced this, and a massive drop in my klout score. It took a couple hours of trying to get it to recognize my personal page again! Finally it took it and a day or so later my score was back. Definitely a royal PITA!

When I saw they wanted access to ALL the fan pages I manage I was like NO, that is not just my stuff there. Wondering if Klout has thought to talk to use ( some ardent loyal users) before they roll out this changes.

OUCH! Yes, I’ve experienced the same problem. All you need to do is disconnect your fan page and reconnect your personal page, contact Klout & let them know. It might take a couple of days, but your score will be back to normal. Klout & FB already don’t play well together, but when we start switching which page we want connected, that really throws them for a loop.
